Say It With Flowers

Over the years, FOTOT has made a number of purchases for the Orpheum at the request of the City. These contributions covered items such as a ballet floor, furniture for the "Green Room", and assisted listening devices for use by those with hearing problems. And while these purchases were significant, they were largely "behind the scenes" as far as patrons were concerned.

Now, however, FOTOT has purchased a number of items that will add a touch of color to the premises. In various locations in the Theatre a number of colorful flower arrangements created by Gail Rambo will replace the existing floral displays, most of which date from the re-opening of the Orpheum in 1997. The new arrangements which are beautiful in their own right also complement and showcase the architecture and historic finishes of the Theatre. Thank you Gail, we could not be more pleased with all the new arrangements!

FOTOT Gives Special Thanks - to the Orpheum's technical staff, Todd Rambo and Dylan Dube. They spent many, many hours helping to install, and then fine tune, the sound system and projection equipment. They take a great deal of pride in the results of their work, and can't wait for the movies to start. (There will be more about these gentlemen in a future blog.)
