Historic Tours

Located in Downtown Phoenix, the Orpheum Theatre is a fully-restored 1929 atmospheric theatre complete with a disappearing Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Organ. Tours of the theatre include all public and many non-public areas and offer visitors a glimpse behind the scenes of a movie palace.

Historic tours are free and open to the public September through May with limited availability in December.*

All regular tours can last up to 90 minutes.

RESERVATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED, BUT WALK-UPS ARE WELCOME.

* Tours are typically scheduled on Tuesdays at 12:00p and 1:30p.  Tours are subject to theatre availability.  The City of Phoenix does not allow the use of tripods, lights, or reflectors on public tours hosted by the Friends of the Orpheum Theatre.

Private Historic Tours

Exclusive tours of the Orpheum Theatre can be organized for groups of 10 or more (25 person max) with a donation of $5 per person.
