Historic Tours

Located in Downtown Phoenix, the Orpheum Theatre is a fully restored 1929 atmospheric theatre, featuring a magnificent disappearing Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Organ. Tours provide access to both public and behind-the-scenes areas, offering a rare glimpse into the magic of a historic movie palace.

Free historic tours are available to the public on select Tuesdays from September through May, with limited availability in December.*

Tours can last up to 90 minutes.

Reservations are recommended, but walk-ups are welcome.

* Tours are subject to theatre availability.  The City of Phoenix does not allow the use of tripods, lights, or reflectors on public tours hosted by the Friends of the Orpheum Theatre.
